This is a short, free Volunteer Management course on Understanding your Volunteers.
This course is suited to anyone who is new to volunteer management or has spent less that two years managing volunteers.
This course is built to help you get to know your volunteers better.
It will help you understand their motivations for volunteering, which tend to be surprisingly similar across most demographics.
It will help you understand how to use these motivations to create a better, more satisfying and more impactful volunteer program.
It will help you understand how to motivate your volunteers more effectively and how to maintain that motivation over time.
It will help you understand some core elements of building a volunteer program that can retain volunteers over time (reducing the need for expensive and time consuming recruitment programs) and keep them satisfied and motivated.
It will also give you some insight into some core questions you should ask your volunteers and when to ask them, to make sure you're getting the most important information before they start.
This course is all about setting you and your volunteers up for success.
This course is shorter than my other courses and offered free, the style is a bit more relaxed but I hope you will still find value in it. Please feel free to leave feedback throughout the course and let me know if there's any other things you'd like me to talk about in future.
See you in the course!
Coupons are issued by instructors to promote their courses, gain traction and reach momentum. The instructor can choose to emit discounted (ex: $11.99 coupon) or 100% off coupon (you pay nothing). Each coupon becomes expired when emitted quota is over (1000 enrollments) OR expiration date has been reach (5 days).
For a coupon, number of activation are now capped to 1000 max. This means that it can be activated only a 1000 times, and then it expires; or reach its expiration date; whatever happens first.
We have no contact with instructors, and only instructors can emit coupons. You can try to directly contact the instructor finding his/her Twitter/Facebook, and ask him/her for a coupon, but at our level, we cannot help, sorry.
