In this course I will be showing you how to create a lesson plan.
The lesson plan in each early years setting is part of the things that helps the setting to stand out. When the lesson plan meets each developmental need and area, when it is engaging and creative, parents are more likely to bring their children to the setting.
This course in an introduction to how to create an engaging lesson plan.
In this course I talk about the EYFS (early years foundation stage) 7 areas of learning, language and communication, physical development, personal, social and emotional development, literacy, mathematics, understanding the world and expressive art and design. I share the learning goals associated with each area of learning. I also give some suggested themes to go with the 7 areas of learning. Themes like animals, insects, people of the world, plants, transportation, fruits and vegetables, etc. I look at an early years time table and discuss how to include themes into the daily scedule or time table. I talk about parent communication, outdoor learning, infusing the themes into the EYFS areas of learning and I give you a sample of how I create my lesson plan using the theme of 'our body'.
Creating a lesson plan is a super challenging and complex thing to do. Using the themes with the different areas of learning and development in a creative and engaging way can be extremely challenging. It took me years to create a lesson plan that I was happy with and it is from my research and years of trial and error that I have created this course to support you in your own early years setting.
It is a lot of work, but it is so rewarding when you see the children learning and you see your setting grow. Plus the inspectors love it.
Coupons are issued by instructors to promote their courses, gain traction and reach momentum. The instructor can choose to emit discounted (ex: $11.99 coupon) or 100% off coupon (you pay nothing). Each coupon becomes expired when emitted quota is over (1000 enrollments) OR expiration date has been reach (5 days).
For a coupon, number of activation are now capped to 1000 max. This means that it can be activated only a 1000 times, and then it expires; or reach its expiration date; whatever happens first.
We have no contact with instructors, and only instructors can emit coupons. You can try to directly contact the instructor finding his/her Twitter/Facebook, and ask him/her for a coupon, but at our level, we cannot help, sorry.
