Hello Student, I am Marijo, your teacher in this tutorial about games-like web portals. First, you will learn something about web portals and game engines. Later, we will speak about the Godot game engine and how to use it to make html5 pages for web portals. The goal of the tutorial is to make a game-like web portal
The Godot is the game engine. The game engines make 2D games, 3D games, and interactive content. Because Godot can create interactive HTML5 content, we will use it to make a web page.
You will learn how to download and install Godot in the beginning. Later, you will create a new project and a new game scene. Then, you will understand Godot game objects, the nodes, and how to use them. We will speak about node properties and game objects like labels, rich text boxes, color rectangles, and others. And when you understand Godot IDE, we will design an interactive web page.
To create interactivity, you must understand font using and programming in GD Script. As the author of the book "GD Script," you will be provided with the best possible options in coding with it. Furthermore, you will learn how to implement script in scene and code functions using objects and methods of GD Script.
Student will learn how to create type writer effect only by coding with a GD Script. Next interactive effect for student to learn is quiz style using textured buttons.
*Gradually more lectures will be added and students will have possibility to learn new and intersecting interactive effects.
Coupons are issued by instructors to promote their courses, gain traction and reach momentum. The instructor can choose to emit discounted (ex: $11.99 coupon) or 100% off coupon (you pay nothing). Each coupon becomes expired when emitted quota is over (1000 enrollments) OR expiration date has been reach (5 days).
For a coupon, number of activation are now capped to 1000 max. This means that it can be activated only a 1000 times, and then it expires; or reach its expiration date; whatever happens first.
We have no contact with instructors, and only instructors can emit coupons. You can try to directly contact the instructor finding his/her Twitter/Facebook, and ask him/her for a coupon, but at our level, we cannot help, sorry.
